Mangaluru: The Mangaluru University on Wednesday released the revised time-table of university examinations that were scheduled to begin on September 21 but were postponed due to heavy rains in Coastal Karnataka and flooding in parts of the region.

The Udupi district which was affected by heavy rains until last night has found some relief this morning. The flood-affected areas have seen steady withdrawal of rainwater as the torrential downpour has stopped, bringing much relief to the region.
Mangaluru university in a press statement on Sunday added that the university examination that were scheduled to be held on Monday in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada have been postponed owing to heavy rainfall.
The compound wall at the premises of St Anthony’s Church has collapsed due to the heavy rainfall on Saturday. A worker, who was working during the time of the incident is suspected to have been trapped under the collapsed wall.
