Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District on Monday evening reported two more positive cases of Corona Virus, according to the latest health bulletin issued by Department of Health and Family Welfare on Monday evening.

 Winston Sebastian Pais, a third-year Computer Science and Engineering student of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, brought laurels to the institute by winning the First Place in the State Level Online Coding Contest “Debug Your Lockdown” HACK-2020, conducted by ISTE Karnataka Section.

Heavy rain accompanied by thundershowers and lightning lashed various places in Dakshina Kannada district, including Mangaluru City on Monday morning.

 Two more corona positive cases have been confirmed in the Dakshina Kannada on Sunday. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the district has reached 52. Of these 46 patients were from Dakshina Kannada, four from Kasargod and one each from Karkala and Bhatkal.
