Mangaluru: Grocery stores, vegetable shops in DK to remain open between 7 am - 12 pm from Wednesday

Dakshina Kannada District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary on Tuesday announced that essential shops including grocery stores, fruits and vegetable shops will be allowed to open from Wednesday between 7:00 am to 12:00 pm across the District.


Amidst lockdown, Kanachur Hospital introduces free Ambulance services in Dakshina Kannada

In the view of lockdown in Dakshina Kannada District amidst the spread of coronavirus, Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre, a constituent Hospital of Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences, Natekal, Mangaluru has introduced free Ambulance services in the District for patients seeking admission into Kanachur Hospital.

Mangaluru: District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary said that so far 182 persons' throat swabs were sent for testing in Dakshina Kannada district, of which seven persons have been tested positive for coronavirus and remaining 161 have been tested negative.
