Mangaluru: The Shepherd's International Academy on Thursday celebrated 73rd Independence Day of India at its Attavar campus with patriotic pomp and fervour.

Mangaluru: Dr. Mariam Anjum Iftikhar from the city has successfully completed her Mch in Gynaecological Oncology at Amrita Institute Of Medical Sciences in Cochin.  With this , she is the first doctor in Dakshina Kannada District to have specialized in the treatment of several cancers found in women.

Mangaluru: In a horrific road accident a huge tree fell on a school bus of a private school on Wednesday morning when it was carrying 17 schools to the children. The incident was reported near Nanthoor Circle in Mangaluru.
