Gambling near Netravati River: Seven persons held

 The police on Tuesday arrested seven persons on charge of involving in gambling in a public place near River Dale at Kadekar of Jappinamogaru village on the outskirts of the city.


Sajipanadu: H1N1 claims another person

Another person of Sajipanadu who was admitted to a hospital following suspected H1N1 virus died in the hospital on Tuesday morning. With the death of the woman, the disease claimed mother and her daughter of the same family within six days. Now the family and the local people are under panic.
