Green Valley National School &PU College celebrated a Green Fest Festival on 24th February 2018, Saturday to make our students aware of the environmental hazards and health problems that the youth face today. As part of the British Council’s International School Award action plan, the school planned and executed progrmmes throughout the year and this fest on Saturday the 24th February 2018 was the culmination of all the activities held during the year. , With the theme “Joining Forces for Nature”, students of Grades, 8, 9 & 10’s were thoroughly involved with the fest. ‘Think Green’, ‘Act Green’, ‘Eat Green’, ‘Shop Green’, ‘Go Green’ were the slogans followed with the main objective of preserving our environment. Green Valley celebrated this ‘Go Green Day” with an array of events contributing to the need for a greener planet.

Mangluru: Zeeshan Ramlan of Mangaluru was recently awarded the top 100 Global HR Diversity Leader by World HRD Congress. The event was held at Mumbai recently. Mangaluru: The team of excise officials, who conducted a raid at the place where illegal liquor was stored and seized 7,805 liters of alcohol and two vehicles. Officials estimated the value of the seized spirit at Rs 11 lakh.
