Bearys institute of technology celebrates int'l women's day with competitive programming talk

Mangalore, March 8, 2025 – Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) celebrated International Women’s Day with an inspiring session on Competitive Programming in association with the IEEE Student Branch. The event, held at the International Seminar Hall, featured Ms. Ashwini Holla, Chairperson of the Women in Engineering Bangalore Section Affinity Group-2024, as the keynote speaker.

 


Missing 19-year-old boy found in Udupi, returns to Bantwal under police security

Bantwal: Much to the relief of his family members, the 19-year-old boy Diganth, who had gone missing from Farangipet in Ullal taluk recently, was found in Udupi on Saturday, with Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police Yatheesh N stating that Diganth is being brought to Bantwal under police security.
