Karnataka: Depressed over failure in PU Exams, 18-year-old commits suicide

Hassan: An 18-year-old girl on Tuesday committed suicide for failing in the PUC Examination after the PU Education Board announced the results earlier in the day. The incident took place at Arakalagud Town in Hassan District here.

 


2,496 new COVID-19 cases, 87 deaths in Karnataka on Tuesday

Bengaluru: The surge in COVID-19 cases in Karnataka continued to head upwards as the state reported 2,496 fresh cases of virus on Tuesday, July 14. The state also recorded highest single-day deaths as it witnessed 87 people succumbing to the deadly virus between Monday 5 pm and Tuesday 5 pm.
