Bengaluru: Freedom fighter H. S Doreswamy  has called for people's movement against 17 rebel MLAs of Congress and JD(s) who resigned from the assembly earlier last month to destabilise the coalition government in the state.

A slip of tongue during oath taking and he mistakenly took oath as the ‘Mukhya Mantri’ meaning the Chief Minister while all he had to say was only ‘Mantri’ meaning minister.

The reports however add that some party loyalists are not happy with the selection of candidates for the ministers as they believe that senior leaders have been ignored in formation of the cabinet.

Nearly one month after BS Yediyurappa took oath as the CM of Karnataka on July 26, the BJP state president released a list of 17 MLAs for the formation of cabinet on Tuesday.
