BSY reaches out to sulking MLAs as discontent continues to brew over Cabinet expansion

Bengaluru: A day after the expansion of the Karnataka cabinet with the induction of 17 Ministers, discontent among those who failed to secure Ministerial berths refused to die down on Wednesday, even as Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa made attempts to douse the embers.

 


IndiGo to start Bengaluru-Belgaum flights from September 8

New Delhi, Aug 21: Adding Belgaum in Karnataka as its 58th destination, low-cost carrier IndiGo announced on Wednesday that it will start daily flights on Bengaluru-Belgaum route from September 8.

Bengaluru: BJP Government led by BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday formed the cabinet of minister with 17 MLAs taking oath as the cabinet ministers. The reports however add that some party loyalists are not happy with the selection of candidates for the ministers as they believe that senior leaders have been ignored in formation of the cabinet.

 

17 MLAs administered oath as cabinet ministers by Governor

Nearly one month after BS Yediyurappa took oath as the CM of Karnataka on July 26, the BJP state president released a list of 17 MLAs for the formation of cabinet on Tuesday.
