Polling deferred in Bengaluru's RR Nagar constituency

The Election Commission (EC) on Friday postponed election in Bengaluru's Raja Rajeshwari (RR) Nagar assembly segment to May 28 from Saturday following recovery of nearly 10,000 voters ID cards from a flat in the constituency.

High-voltage campaign ends for Karnataka Assembly poll

A high-voltage, high-decibel campaign, often turning bitter and personal, for the May 12 Karnataka Assembly elections, billed as the quarterfinal before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls with huge stakes for both BJP and Congress, ended Thursday evening amidst predictions of a close fight and a hung Assembly.

Rs 31.5 cr unaccounted cash seized in poll-bound Karnataka
