Justice KS Puttaswamy, petitioner in landmark right to privacy case, passes away at 98

Justice KS Puttaswamy, former Karnataka High Court judge and lead petitioner in the historic right to privacy case, passed away at 98 at his residence in Bengaluru. A prominent legal figure, he was instrumental in establishing the right to privacy as a fundamental right under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution through his petition before the Supreme Court.

Proposal for separate court for CID cases
