Thirteen people were injured after a clash broke out between two groups over a minor dispute in Shamli district, police said on Sunday.

The mortal remains of former finance minister Arun Jaitley were on Sunday morning brought to the BJP headquarters here for his admirers and followers to pay their last respects.

While stating his reasons, IAS officer Kannan Gopinathan said one of them was denial of "fundamental rights" to lakhs of people in Jammu and Kashmir for weeks after special status was scrapped from the state earlier this month.
