Activists Arrested In Raids Over Bhima Koregaon Caste Violence

Activists from across the country were picked up following a series of raids by the Pune Police in connection with violence in Maharashtra's Bhima Koregaon in January this year. Raids were conducted at homes of activists and intellectuals in Delhi, Faridabad, Goa, Mumbai, Thane, Ranchi and Hyderabad today.


Tripura CM says oxygen levels will ‘automatically’ rise in water bodies if ducks swim in them

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said he wants to distribute ducks among villagers in the state because he believes they will boost the rural economy. But the chief minister also claims ducks provide additional benefits: he says they recycle water, and their swimming increases oxygen levels in water bodies.
