Mangaluru: With heavy rains continuing across the district, Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan as a precautionary measure has declared a holiday for all Anganwadi centers, government, private, aided primary and high schools, PU colleges in the district on Wednesday June 26.

Mangaluru: The Mangaluru police arrested a young man from Kerala on Tuesday, July 25, after he allegedly murdered his grandparents and attempted to sell the stolen gold ornaments in the city.

Four people were grievously injured in a collision between a car and a tipper lorry at Parlottu near Mitturu on the Mani-Mysuru State Highway on Tuesday.
