A man who had been grievously injured in a wild elephant attack on Konaje Road in Aittur village of Kadaba taluk a month ago and was under treatment in hospital till a few days ago died here at around dawn on Tuesday.

An 18-year-old student Mohammed Irfan of Shanthibettu in Kaukradi village near Nelyadi here died of a sudden heart attack after her returned home from college on Monday evening.
