Puttur: Woman dies after falling from coconut tree

Puttur, Aug 9: A 30-year-old woman, who was known for her expertise in climbing coconut trees and plucking coconuts, died Wednesday after falling from a tree while working, at Punchappady village in Dakshina Kannada district, police said.

Mangaluru: A woman residing in KPT Vyasanagar has lodged a formal police complaint against her husband, alleging the theft of a substantial amount of gold jewelry that she had meticulously stored in her home cupboard.
