Udupi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who was on his visit to the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi for the first time after getting elected in the second term, accepted request letters from more than 100 people at the Udupi Deputy Commissioner’s office premises.

Sullia: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 17-year-old boy identified as Hanseef, took his own life by hanging himself at his residence in Biliyar, Aranthodu village of Sullia taluk. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, leaving the community in shock and sorrow.

Dinesh Gundu Rao, the District In-charge Minister, issued a stern warning on Tuesday, stating that individuals engaged in illegal activities under the pretext of moral policing in Dakshina Kannada would face deportation. He made the remarks during his visit to Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts alongside Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
