Uppinangady: 29-year-old two wheeler rider killed in road accident, pillion rider critically injured

Uppinangady: In a road accident reported on Tuesday morning, a bike rider died on the spot while the pillion rider sustained critical injuries after a speeding tempo rammed into their two-wheeler here at Sannampadi near Golithota in Uppinangady.

 


Mangaluru: Unidentified miscreants assault shop owner with swords in Konaje

 In an incident that reportedly occurred on Monday night, three bike-borne individuals attacked a Shop-owner who had just finished closing his shop for the day by brandished swords against him near Mangaluru University in Konaje. The Shop owner reportedly escaped the attack with minor injuries.
