Chikkamagaluru: Two Dalits were allegedly assaulted by workers of Bajrang Dal at Alduru in Chikkamagaluru taluk on Sunday. The accused are Tudkur Manju, district convener of Bajrang Dal, and his associates Chetan and Prateek.

Green Valley National School &PU College celebrated a Green Fest Festival on 24th February 2018, Saturday to make our students aware of the environmental hazards and health problems that the youth face today. As part of the British Council’s International School Award action plan, the school planned and executed progrmmes throughout the year and this fest on Saturday the 24th February 2018 was the culmination of all the activities held during the year. , With the theme “Joining Forces for Nature”, students of Grades, 8, 9 & 10’s were thoroughly involved with the fest. ‘Think Green’, ‘Act Green’, ‘Eat Green’, ‘Shop Green’, ‘Go Green’ were the slogans followed with the main objective of preserving our environment.
