Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly, Siddaramaiah on Tuesday while addressing the Monsoon Session of the assembly referred to an Editorial and few other reports published in Vartha Bharati about the management and control of Coronavirus.
Speaking about the failures of State and Central Government in controlling and managing the deadly novel Coronavirus, Siddaramaiah cited mismanagement at the hospitals, scarcity of beds at the hospitals, and the plight of common man who had to ply between hospitals for treatment.
During his address, Siddaramaiah also referred to an editorial of Vartha Bharati titled ‘Corona Rudranataka’ and few other reports published in the newspaper about the extremity caused by the people due to the lockdown and the deadly virus.
He further slammed the government adding that it had only indulged in lip service and had done nothing for the welfare of the people during the hard times.
