Mohammed Haris Nalapad reportedly accepted the position of the state Youth Congress president on Monday. 

 In an incident that reportedly occurred on Monday morning, police resorted to lathi-charging the ABVP activists who were demonstrating in front of the administrative office of the Bengaluru University demanding solutions to educational issues.
