CM Bommai directs districts bordering Kerala to take up special surveillance measures

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday directed the administrations of districts bordering Kerala, that has seen a spurt in COVID-19 cases, to take up special surveillance measure, aimed at controlling the spread of the infection.

July 31: 1,987 new COVID-19 cases, 37 deaths in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 1,987 new COVID-19 and 37 deaths on Saturday, taking the total number of infections to 29,05,124 and the toll to 36,562.
