Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, “JDS is no longer a secular party, as it has been quite some time since they abandoned principles of secularism. The JDS party of the past that existed during our times no longer exists now”, he expressed. 

Former Chief Minister, leader of the opposition Siddaramaiah spoke about the newly appointed CM’s trips to Delhi and said, “We have already experienced a lot of hardship because of COVID. Without suitable hospitals, beds, ventilators, oxygen, thousands of people have died. A repeat of this must be prevented. Leaving all of this, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is running around to assemble his cabinet of ministers. Going to Delhi once is okay, what is the need to go there again and again? BJP high command should also understand the problems of the state”, he said.
