Karnataka by-election poll of polls predict victory for BJP

Bengaluru: The Karnataka by-election poll of polls result has predicted a smooth victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with the party's victory in at least eight seats. Congress, on the other hand, is predicted to bag less than five seats in the Karnataka by-elections.

 


66.59% turn out in Karnataka bypolls

Bengaluru: The crucial byelection to 15 Karnataka assembly constituencies that would have a bearing on the stability of the B S Yediyurappa-led BJP government saw an estimated 66.49 per cent voter turn out on Thursday and was by and large peaceful.
