Terming the Congress charges false and based on half-truths, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has denied that the Rafale deal had snatched jobs from the Indian aerospace major Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL).

The controversial Rafale fighter India ordered would not be ready to fly at the Bengaluru air show in February, an IAF official said on Sunday.

City corporation former mayor Ravi Kumar alias Gadda Ravi was hacked to death here on Sunday morning.

The incident happened near Batawadi in the city. The Miscreants beat him on his head with lethal weapons. It is said that a group of seven Miscreants who came in a vehicle killed him. Police sources also said that Ravi kumar was a rowdy sheeter in Kyatasandra police station limits. He won in the last election held for the city corporation.
