The Karnataka High Court on Thursday denied bail to the main accused in the murder case of cattle trader Hussainabba Jokatte.

As former Indian Prime Minister A.B Vajpayee breathed his last on Thursday, state government has declared holiday for schools and colleges across the state, it is said in a press release.

In a tragic incident, three persons killed in rocksliding that occurred due to heavy rainfall near Katageri in Madikeri. Yashwant, Venkataramana and Pawan were killed in the incident.
