4 dead in Karnataka due to heavy rain

Four people have died due to the heavy rain lashing the coastal and south interior districts of Karnataka over the past few days, an official said on Thursday.

The Karnataka High Court on Thursday denied bail to the main accused in the murder case of cattle trader Hussainabba Jokatte.

Road caves in by 10 feet in NR Pura

Many roads including state highways have reportedly been caved in following the heavy downpour in Malnad.

The road near Melpal in NR Pura has dramatically caved-in. The incident took place between Melpal-Hodsalu villages. The road caved in by 10 feet for around 300 meters. Due to which, the roads connecting tens of villages has been disrupted.
