Will honour SC order, says Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar on screening of 'Thug Life'

Bengaluru: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday appealed to Kannada activists to abide by the Supreme Court order, which directed the state government to ensure the screening of the Kamal Haasan-starrer movie 'Thug Life'.

 


Gundlupet: Man killed over minor dispute, accused arrested

A 36-year-old man was brutally killed in Gundlupet on Monday night following a scuffle over a minor issue. The incident occurred near Maddaneshwara School when the victim, identified as Shivu, a resident of Old Hospital Street in Gundlupet town, had reportedly gone out to buy alcohol.
