Hubbali: Omni car collides with lorry; Three dead, including child

Three members of a family, including a young boy, died in a road accident near Kiresura village in Hubballi taluk when their Omni car collided with a lorry. The accident occurred after a tire on the car burst, causing it to swerve into the path of the oncoming lorry.

SIT files charge sheet against JD(S) MLA Revanna, former MP Prajwal

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has filed a preliminary chargesheet against former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna and his father, HD Revanna, in connection with an alleged sex scandal. The chargesheet, which runs into 2,144 pages, has been submitted to the special court for elected representatives in Bengaluru. However, the court is yet to take cognizance of it.
