A fatal collision occurred between a lorry and a tanker on the national highway in Guddehosur on Sunday. The accident took place when a lorry traveling from Kushalanagar to Sunticoppa collided with a tanker heading towards Kushalanagar.

Two teenage girls, aged 15 and 13, were found murdered in their rented residence at Kaveri Layout near Hebbal on Saturday evening. The police suspect their stepfather, identified as Sumeet, to be responsible for the crime. He is currently on the run.
