"A survey will be conducted across the city to identify illegal buildings. I will instruct the Revenue Department not to register properties that do not comply with building regulations. People buy land at a low cost and sell it without proper planning. The RERA Act is in place to prevent such illegal activities," said Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.

Bengaluru, Oct 22: At least three killed, 13 workers are feared trapped after an under-construction building collapsed in Babusapalya here on Tuesday amid heavy rains, officials said.

A land dispute in Azadpur, on the outskirts of Kalaburagi, escalated into a murder case. Chandrakant Jamadar, aged 48, was killed after being struck with an axe.
