Custard apples, locally known as Sitaphal, have flooded markets in Shorapur and Yadgir of Karnataka as the fruit has reached the state during the season. This fruit which grows in hilly regions from August to November with a productive tree yielding between 50 to 100 fruits from view of the rain received by the region is now available in abundance.
