Researchers at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) have developed a brain-inspired analog computing platform capable of storing and processing data in an astonishing 16,500 conductance states within a molecular film.


NASA addresses 'Strange Noise' from Boeing Starliner; Confirms no risk to crew, mission

NASA has responded to concerns surrounding an unexplained noise coming from the Boeing Starliner spacecraft, currently in space with astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore on board. The noise, detected by Wilmore from one of the spacecraft's speakers, was reported to Mission Control at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston on Saturday. The incident gained widespread attention after meteorologist Rob Dale captured and shared an audio clip of the exchange, which quickly went viral.

Based on data from the ChaSTE payload on the Chandrayaan-3 lander, an yet-to-published research found an enormous temperature difference of approximately 60 degrees Celsius between the lunar surface and barely 10 centimeters within it. According to a senior scientist of the Indian Space and Research Organization (Isro), the extreme heat non-conductivity of the lunar surface may make it possible to build temperature-controlled dwellings beneath it.
