Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge has responded to BJP leader B.L. Santosh's claims about Congress leaders being in contact with him. Kharge issued a challenge, giving Santosh one month to attempt to topple the government and prove his allegations.

Three men were detained by police on Friday, on charges of provoking their 44-year-old mother, Sumithra, to allegedly commit suicide by hanging herself at home here. The incident occurred on Thursday night in the Korambettu Colony of Lingappayya Forest Region, KS Rao Nagar.
