Woman's name excluded from NRC: SC issues notice, says no steps be taken for her deportation

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has sought responses from the Centre and the Assam government on a plea filed by a woman, who was declared a foreigner and her name was excluded from the final National Register of Citizens (NRC), and directed that no steps be taken for her deportation.
