Taking the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state above thousand, Karnataka on Friday reported 45 new positive cases of the virus including 16 new cases in Dakshina Kannada and five new cases in Udupi District.
Five persons among those who returned from Dubai on May 12, have tested positive for COVID -19, said Udupi District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. Sudheer Chandra Sood.
