GoAir passenger tried to open exit door mid-air thinking it was washroom door

The passengers on a New Delhi-Patna GoAir Flight G8 149 faced a piquant situation on September 22 when a man in his twenties tried to open the exit door even though the plane was mid-air. The passenger had mistaken the exit door for the washroom door.

Aadhaar Linking With Bank Account and Mobile Number Not Mandatory : Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Wednesday said bank accounts and mobile numbers don't need to be linked with the 12-digit biometric Aadhaar. The Supreme Court further upheld Section 139AA mandating linkage with PAN which means Aadhaar will remain mandatory for Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Income Tax Returns linking. The Supreme Court further added saying that the government needs to ensure that illegal migrants do not get Aadhaar card.
