KSRTC's Mangaluru Dasara tour packages see record-breaking response

Mangaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Mangaluru division’s special Dasara tour packages have received an exceptional response, setting a new record for passenger participation. On Sunday, the KSRTC operated 24 buses under these packages, surpassing the previous record of 22 buses in a single day set during the program's inaugural year in 2022.

The body of businessman and community leader B M Mumtaz Ali was found in the Phalguni River at Kuloor on Monday morning. He was reported missing after his car was discovered near the Kuloor bridge on Sunday early morning.

His car was found abandoned on the Kuloor bridge, located at Kuloor, between Udupi and Mangaluru. The vehicle showed signs of damage on its front-right side, indicating a possible accident.
