Republic Day celebrated at Bearys Knowledge Campus

Mangaluru: Bearys Knowledge Campus in Innoli celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with enthusiasm and patriotism. The event began with Dr. Jeevan Raj, Vice Principal of Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management, hoisting the national flag. He also delivered a speech on the importance of the Constitution and the responsibilities of citizens.

 


Mulki resident dies of heart attack in Riyadh

Mulki: Mansoor Mulki (43), a resident of Panchmahal, in Mulki, passed away due to a heart attack in Riyadh on Sunday night. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

Mangaluru: Three educational institutions in the city on Monday received a hoax email threat claiming the presence of explosive materials on their premises.

 

Kotekar Cooperative Bank robbery case: Plot hatched 6 months ago; 3 visits before the robbery

Mangaluru police have taken into custody the father of the accused in connection with the robbery at Kotekar Agricultural Cooperative Bank. Police have intensified the investigation after arresting three key suspects along with the stolen gold jewellery. During the investigation, it was revealed that the prime accused, Murugandi Tevar, had planned the robbery nearly six months ago, as informed by Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal.
