Byndoor: In a tragic incident, a Mangalore Electricity Supply Company lineman lost his life after he was electrocuted while repairing a transformer near Taggarse village in Heggeri on Monday.

Sullia: A priest of Kavoor Sri Mahavishnu Temple was allegedly attacked by a former priest of the temple on Sunday. A case has been registered at the Sullia Police Station in this regard.

Mangaluru: The National Green Tribunal (South Zone) has ordered a stay on the Nethravathi waterfront project of the Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL) till the next hearing of the suo motu case against the project, which it had filed following intense objection raised by environmentalists and concerned citizens.
