Mangaluru: Activists of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) were detained by the city police on Thursday as they attempted to lay siege on the residence of Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel during a protest against the BJP Parliamentarian for failing to get grants for the district from the Central government.
