Mangaluru: Mangaluru city police have arrested three people on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl in Ullal police station limits in Dakshina Kannada district.

The owner of Avinash Buses in Sullia, Narayan Rai (73) reportedly hung himself and died by suicide on Monday night. 

The Mangaluru rural police have arrested five of the accused concerning an attempted murder case. Reportedly, the accused had tried to waylay a car and tried to murder him beside a post office near Neermarga.
