Mangaluru: Custom officials at the Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday seized gold worth lakhs of rupees that was being illegally smuggled by a passenger. The officials have taken the passenger into their custody.

“Although I am a part of Bharatiya Janata Party, as a big fan of the former Minister B. Janardhan Poojary, I did not mean any kind of disrespect to the Billava community. Despite this, I offer my apologies to friends from the Billava Community in case I have hurt their sentiments”, said BJP Leader, K.P Jagadish Adhikari.
