Stanford University lists Vittla's Dr. Abdul Rahiman Beig among world's eminent scientists

Mangaluru: The global survey conducted by Stanford University listed Dr. Abdul Rahiman  Beig, in the list of top 2% eminent scientists of the world. He is an alumni of  Govt. Primary School, Bolanthimogru, Govt. higher primary school Vitttla, Vittla Junior College, National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Suratkal and  Indian Institute of Science (IISc), The survey is based on the quality of research works and is published in the PLOS Biology journal. Mangaluru: In an incident that occurred on Tuesday, a commercial fishing boat met a tragic fate as it drowned in the deep seas, and six fishermen on board were reportedly missing in the aftermath. While the bodies of two missing fishermen were recovered on Tuesday evening, two other bodies were extracted from the ocean on Wednesday.

Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident, a big purse seine fishing boat that had ventured on a fishing expedition reportedly drowned at sea, several nautical miles away near the western part of the sea at Ullal. The 6 fishermen on-board are allegedly still missing.
