 A 37-year old biker died on the spot after being hit by a car at Mata near Uppinangady on Saturday afternoon here. The deceased has been identified as Abdul Azeez (37), a resident of Kalleri Tannirupantha.

A two wheeler rider died after being hit by a truck at Adhur in Kasargod on Saturday morning here. The deceased has been identified as Ishwar Bhat, a resident of Koturu. He was reportedly working as a medical representative.

Mangaluru: Indian Coast Guard arrested 15 Iranian fishermen along with two of their boats for allegedly entering Indian waters illegally. The arrested fishermen have been handed over to Mangaluru Police for further investigations.
