Mangaluru: South Western Railway (SWR) has proposed introduction of a direct train service between Karwar and Mysuru via Mangaluru which is expected to start running soon.

 


MESCOM reports loss worth Rs. 9 crore in 15 days due to rain and floods

Mangaluru: Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (Mescom) has reported a loss of Rs. 9 crores in the first 15 days of August due to heavy rains and floods in several Taluks that comes under its jurisdiction.
