District Administration prepared to prevent and counter Dengue: Dakshina Kannada DHO

Mangaluru: With the beginning of Monsoon in the Coastal Karnataka, Dakshina Kannada District is once again gripped by the Dengue fever where according to the official data 92 cases of the mosquito-borne fever have been reported in the District till June 19.

Police raids illegal sand mining spot in Mangaluru outskirts

Mangaluru: Mangaluru Rural Police on Saturday after raiding at Adyar, seized illegal sand worth Rs. 55,000 and also took a JCB and three trucks worth Rs. 45 lakhs. It later informed that the sand and vehicles belonged to Surendra Kambli, a resident of Adyar.
