Heavy rains that have lashed Mangaluru city over the past two days have led to several incidents of damage and disruption. 

A major landslide occurred early Thursday morning at Mannagundi near Kaukradi village in Uppinangady, disrupting traffic on the Mangaluru–Bengaluru National Highway. 

A shocking case of murder has been reported from Thekkaru village in Belthangady taluk on Thursday morning.
