Mangaluru: Fundraised for Kerala victims during wedding ceremony

Mangaluru: With the wish of couples, funds raised for Kerala rain victims during the wedding ceremony of Jithesh Pakala and Pratima at the wedding hall. The collection was initiated with the donation of bride and groom, and Rs 11,000 was collected in an hour. Later, the contributions were transferred to Kerala Chief Minister's relief fund.


4-year-old boy donates money to Kodagu rain victims

Moodigere: Bapu Nagar resident Ziyan Ahmed (4), who had collected Rs 1,000 from his father to buy a new dress for this Bakrid Festival, donated the money for flood victims in Kodagu by submitting it to CM’s relief fund. Ziyan, a student of UKG in Betani School, is the son of Nadeem Ahmad. He handed over the fund to Altaf Bilgula, president of Peace and Awareness Trust.
