Moodbidri lecturers accused of raping student; Three arrested in Bengaluru

Two lecturers from a Moodbidri-based college and their friend have been arrested in Bengaluru on charges of repeatedly raping a female student. The arrests were made following a complaint filed by the survivor at the Marathahalli Police Station. According to the complaint, the accused developed closeness with the student under the guise of sharing academic notes. This was followed by blackmail and repeated sexual assaults. The arrested have been identified as Narendra, a physics lecturer; Sandeep, a biology lecturer; and their friend Anoop.
