The Congress-JD(S) coalition government in Karnataka, which is on the brink due to a flurry of resignations, is likely to suffer another jolt with another Congress MLA Monday threatening to resign.

Bengaluru: In another blow to the Cong-JD(S) coalition government, reports of independent candidate H Nagesh resigning from ministerial post have surfaced in the political circles on Monday morning.

Bengaluru: Even as Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy went into a huddle with the coalition leaders RPT coalition leaders in a last ditch attempt to save his 13 month old alliance government, hit by resignations of over a dozen Congress-JD(S) MLAs, disgruntled MLAs camped in Mumbai Sunday made it clear they will not withdraw.

Bengaluru: "Leaders are not thinking about protecting the coalition government in the state. In coalition, both the parties should have faith on each other. Unfortunately, there is no such a development here", MLA Roshan Baig who was suspended from the Congress said.
